💰 What’s your money script?

We tell ourselves stories everyday. Some of our tales are a little too tall, others sell ourselves a lot too short, and some stories are just plain annoying and cost us money.

Enter the fun world of money scripts. A money script is a belief we carry with us that influences how we think, feel, and handle all things money. These financial narratives often run on autopilot, without anyone directing the plot.

Research by Brad Klontz, Psy.D. and CFP, aims to change that! Klontz found we tend towards four basic money scripts – money avoidance, money worship, money status, and money vigilance – and knowing which one sways you could change how you deal with money.

Let’s look at some money script stuff to help rewrite the stories that cost you.
