Thirty thousand what?
Dollars, pies, dried beans, weddings, or Diva Cups?
None of the above.
How about 30,000 regular readers, ’cause that’s what my counter tool thingy registered this week.
Somehow, for whatever reason, over 30,000 people have signed up to receive my frugal living Squawks via email or through an RSS reader. Sure, hundreds of thousands more visit my site every month through social media and search engines. But any personal blog with over 30,000 regular readers is pretty astounding — and I don’t astound easily.
These types of numbers are usually reserved for media blogs, celebrity gossip blogs, or shopping blogs. Not blogs about frugal living.
This warms my heart.
So I want to say thank you. Thank you to everyone who has shared or emailed one of my Squawks to a friend, family member, or dog. Thank you.
Without you reading out there, I’d be pretty lonely over here.

Congratulations Kerry!! I just saved 350$$$ today thanks to you. I read your book and called my insurance agent about increasing our deductible on our house coverage and she actually found several deductions which amounted to this much without having to increase our deductible. She is going to look into our car insurance next. Oh, and I started cleaning with vinegar and baking soda and I am loving it. I borrowed the book from library but I think I might get a copy when I catch a good sale from Chapters. Thank you for this savings which I will be putting towards my TFS.
