That's shocking. My name often gets misspelled or mispronounced. In emails, my last name sometimes gets used as my first name. That's sloppy. That's life. Registering misspellings is a great idea. In The Dip, Seth Godin notes that "Average people are in the majority but they're not in demand." Here's a frugal tip: observe little things that others should do but don't/won't, then do them.
