@Riscario Insider I think "Squawk" is hard to spell, impossible to type, but my site is always fun to read. :D The name is quirky, just like me. :) I loved Godin's The Dip. I bought it. I think I need to reread it. :D

@Fup LOL I like you JUST the way you are despite what the "authorities" think. I always smile when you drop a comment. I think it's the yellow ducky.

Congrats on the press coverage. The only press coverage I get is things like "...is wanted for questioning..." or "...if spotted, do not try to capture yourself. Call the authorities and wait ..."

You routinely have problems with misspellings too!?! That's shocking. My name often gets misspelled or mispronounced. In emails, my last name sometimes gets used as my first name. That's sloppy. That's life.

Registering misspellings is a great idea. I tried but the variations were gone. Frankly, I have trouble with "squawk" each time. I can spell "squaw" and "walk" end end with "sqwalk" or "squack". Luckily. I know those are wrong.

In The Dip, Seth Godin notes that "Average people are in the majority but they're not in demand." Here's a frugal tip: observe little things that others should do but don't/won't, then do them. You'll quickly become remarkable without much effort (which is sad in a way).

@derek Thank you! I agree with your percentages. I'm thinking Rob was being generous.

@Riscario Insider I'm pretty used to the media misspelling my blog name, so I bought that domain name too. ;) I'm always surprised when the media misspell my name or my blog though, back in journalism school (I went to Carleton) we'd flunk an assignment for getting a name wrong. I would estimate that 70% of the time the media either call me "Kelly Taylor" or refer readers to "squakfox.com". :)

Congratulations, Kerry! When all five blogs are listed about 2 minutes into the clip, you're called "Squakfox" twice. At least they're consistent ;)

This was great. Kudos to you. I would disagree with Rob and say less than 10% percent are 'good' blogs. Yours is definately up there!
