My first attempt at a book giveaway mostly blew me away. My initial goal was to see if anyone wanted to win my book, 397 Ways To Save Money, and the answer was a resounding YES. Since over ONE HUNDRED readers entered this contest I’d have to assume it’s because you all love free s$it or you just really want my book. Either way, I’ve spent the last day trying to pick a winner and it hasn’t been easy.
The idea was to pick the TWO best money saving tips and award the top tipsters with a book, signed if they wished. My problem was that I couldn’t pick a winner since the best tips tend to depend on the person and situation. So to deal with the dilemma I enlisted Carl to pick his favorite 15 entries and then I picked two winners randomly. Soooooo … drum roll please! The book winners are:

Gail’s stuff is amazing. I also got the Til Debt Do Us Part 2010 Life Planner – it has been an amazing help to me and my husband as we work to climb out of the mountain of debt were in.
My husband always took out the credit card, after dinner and would buy at least one thing. Sometimes he’d buy 3 things. It didn’t even matter what he was buying. Anyway – since the book – he stopped. Gail got through to him. More than I can say!
