Be still my squawking heart. I’ll be doing an interview for The Point with Aamer Haleem on CBC Radio 1 on Tuesday, May 26 at 2pm your local time.
CBC’s The Point is a provocative and entertaining series of conversations featuring guests who bring personal experience and opinions on a variety of topics. I’ll be squawking about my new book, 397 Ways To Save Money and weighting in on getting out debt, saving money, and the evils (or joys) of paying for television.
Where and when to listen:
- On air: CBC Radio 1, 2pm local time, or 2:30pm in Newfoundland and 1pm central time
- On line: Pick a stream for your local timezone
- On Sirius 137: Noon and 2am Eastern
- On Podcast: Get The Point Podcast

Hmm okay. I’ll try the podcast sometime tomorrow – I tuned in today at 2PM EST and they were talking about neo-nazi families, bikes taking over the road vs cars, and unfriendly neighbours.

Back from Asia, writing a book in Victoria BC and enjoying re-discovery of the CBC. How great to hear your interview! Frugality is dear to my heart and I have thought of sharing my insights, but have not got around to it (yet?).
