Hosting the Festival of Frugality
- July 2, 2008 by Fox | Comments: 3
I’m getting festive with frugality! Next week (July 8th, 2008) I’ll be hosting one of the biggest traveling carnivals around, the Festival of Frugality. This festival has traveled a few times around the blogosphere so I’m pretty darn excited to host the #133 Edition right here on Squawkfox.
The idea behind the Festival of Frugality is to showcase all the creative and helpful ways to stretch the mighty dollar and to pinch the precious penny. If you’re looking for ways to make the most of the dollars you have, then this festival is for you!
What’s a Blog Carnival?
A Blog Carnival is a magazine-style collection of the best articles from many blogs on a particular topic. I hosted the Carnival of Debt Reduction just last week so take a peek to see what it’s all about.
Submit a post.
Since I’m hosting this frugally festive show I’d like to call for submissions. If you’re a blogger who has written about Frugality over the last week then please submit to next week’s festival.
If you have any questions be sure to leave a comment or email me! I promise to make this festival very sexy, delicious, and fun so don’t miss out. Get your frugal posts in and stay tuned for all the festivities next week.
Did you know: The game of Scrabble only has two letter “F’s” in play? I only figured this out today. ![]()

Cool beans. Look forward to it.
Love how you threw in the US dime in the photo. Glad to see the quarter still has a caribou on it
@No Debt Plan I’m working away!
@David Ahh, you noticed my attempt at international coinage. Keen eye! I opted not to go Toonie Loonie for a change.
