Kerry,…nice program. Under the gas used option could you add Imperial gallons as well for us Canadians? Cheers!

could we make a portable calculator for in the vehicle that just calculates gas mileage. i think it would sell in stores and would be great for people travelling.

Fox, The mileage calculator is flawed. It will not reset, and did not calculate when I was able to enter gasoline and mileage data. Hope you can get it working again

@Mrs.Micah I’m so happy you likey! These tools are lots of work, to be honest. I mostly build them out of interest in learning new technology, to solve a problem I have, and to share the results with others. It’s kinda fun when it’s done.

I have a spreadsheet where I enter the information and it calculates my gas mileage and cost per mile for the tank of gas, as well as my cumulative gas mileage and cost per mile for the whole year!

I usually write down my trip mileage (and reset the trip meter) each time I fill up, and enter the distance and fuel use data into the database at Greenhybrid.com. This is nicer for having metric units, and the cost of gas, but I like the signature with my average mileage too
