I’m pretty darn excited to announce I’ll be hosting the Carnival of Debt Reduction next week (June 23, 2008). This carnival has traveled far and wide across the personal finance blogosphere and will reach the 145th Edition on this bloggy blog.
If you’re looking for ways to reduce debt or just want to get inspired by the success of others then drop by Squawkfox next week to read all the sexy details. Many bloggers who participate in this carnival share personal stories which you may find encouraging and helpful.
What’s a Blog Carnival?
A Blog Carnival is a magazine-style collection of the best articles from many blogs on a particular topic. The host blog changes each week. The term “carnival” came into play since the responsibility of hosting travels around, like an actual carnival. Carnivals are fun to read since only the best articles on a topic are highlighted and linked. It’s an easy way to learn about new blogs and to follow a niche topic.
Submit a post.
Since I’m hosting this traveling debt reduction show I’d like to call for submissions. If you’re a blogger who has blogged about Debt Reduction over the last week then please submit to next week’s carnival.
I’ll see all you carnies next week! Ohh, and wish me luck since this is the first carnival I’ve ever hosted. Yay!

Your Two Cents:
Get ready! (Though NOTHING can come close to your divacup article.)
@Hayden Tompkins ROTF. Yeah, some thought nothing could compare to the How to Be a Woman article. But apparently, I am not alone with my love for the Diva Cup.
I promise to be tame, yet entertaining (hopefully), for the Carnival of Debt Reduction.
I had the most painful conversation with my husband about it. I was trying to tell him what a good idea I thought it was, but the more I talked the worse it got.
I am still ordering one though!
