No, I didn’t get my face lifted. I didn’t get injected with Botox either. I’m pleased to say my face is still fully mobile and full of expression. What I did inject is some new life into squawkfox.com, this mind boggling blog. I went and created a new look, a new feel, and hopefully a likable site.
When I started blogging I knew very little about blog design and internet technical stuff. Since way back then, my goal has always been to always try my best and to suck less everyday. In the spirit of less suckage, I have worked hard at bettering my blog design and technical skills (hopefully).

The new design changes are kinda subtle, mostly sexy, a little delicious, and always fun. Doing a redesign of squawkfox.com is kinda hard work, so I really hope you like it. If you’re stuck in a reader, then do drop by. If you see anything weird, wacky, or not wonderful – then please let me know via the comments below or via email.
Gardens
Last week I wrote about my deer and garden problem. Basically, I live in an area with lots of hungry deer and resorted to water guns and super soakers to protect my bounty. You commented, you sent emails, you basically let me know HOW to save my tender tomatoes and sweet peas in an organic and deer-friendly way. I am stunnified with how much you all know about gardening, wildlife, and protecting one’s vegetable garden from said wildlife. Along with all commenters, I would like to thank emailers Ruth and Carole for your detailed insight into my Bambi matter. Thank you everyone. I’ll let you know how my garden fares (and hopefully grows) in a future post.
Carnivals
Along with redesigning Squawkfox and chasing deer, I have managed to participate in four awesome carnivals. Here’s where you can find me scattered around the carnival circuit!
