Nothing beats the sweet taste of homemade applesauce: pure apples and some water-that's it, and you'd swear there was sugar added!! I use empire apples and leave the skins on while making it so it turns out pink. It also freezes beautifully!!

I sometimes buy the Lipton Select triangle black tea bags that have vanilla and caramel bits and add a piece of a dark chocolate bar with it to make a caramel chocolate tea. Black tea is an appetite supressant, tiny bit of caramel in it sweetens it enough, and dark chocolate is full of antioxidants, calcium(some more than milk), and is great to clear you skin.

I have recently found Yogi Mayan Chocolate Spice Tea- which is fabulous when Im having a chocolate or sweet craving. The tea contains licorice, clove, cardamon, cinnamon, cocoa shells, and other ingredients- all are craving and appetite reducers. Its a great alternative to hot chocolate!

I also drink Tazo Earl Grey tea in the afternoon when Im still hungry. The bergamot oil and black tea reduces hunger, but you have to drink it without the sugar. When I want to sweeten it I use Agave and Stevia which taste link honey and splenda respectively, which are made from plant and roots and help balance out the sugar absorption and level in your body. Great for diabetics. Its a little steep in the cost, but both go a long ways because you just need a fraction of the sugar alternative.

Fatty designer Dasz makes some fantastic sorbets, though! ;) their mango one is fantastic.
Sorbet, however, is super simple to make and I highly recommend DIY sorbet! Just puree fruits and freeze in an ice cream maker (or container and stir every 10-15 mins), or use the food processor to blend up frozen fruit.
My healthy dessert of choice: frozen fruit with yogurt on top (real yogurt! not milk ingredients that contain gelatin!)
My frugal dessert of choice: frozen grapes.

Mmmmm...delicious. All great ideas. To give green tea an even more dessert-like taste (not htat it isn't wonderful on its own), add a stick of cinnamon as it steeps. So good.
