G: Quinoa for breaky is yummy. I tend to add apples and almonds to liven it up a bit. My "better half" is not a fan of quinoa for his morning meal...he thinks it's more of a rice replacement. I haven't read “In Defense of Food” yet. It's soooo on my list though. I LOVE this statement: “Eat Food, Not Too Much, Mostly Plants”

A: Thank you A for your strong vote of confidence. Comments like yours indeed inspire me to "keep on keepin on!". When you say advertise, do you mean promote this site on other sites? OR place advertisements on my own bloggie? To make steel-cut oats more tasty for you...how about cooking them with berries or fruits? I love the flavor of naked steel cut oats but often mix in raisins, apples, peaches, berries, or whatever is in season to naturally sweeten the oats. Some people add honey or milk as well. Ohh, adding nutmeg or cinnamon is also very yummy. Again, many thanks for your kind words. *blush*

I LOVE this website. Whoever you are, Squakfox, kudos. You need to advertise a bit...I know so many women that will love, love this site!
How about recipes?
Any way to make steel-cut oatmeal taste good...to me, it just tastes awful...even with being an organic foodie!
Keep on keepin' on!

All great ideas. Never really thought of quinoa for breakfast, but I do love it in place of rice. Have you read "In Defense of Food". Great little book with a very simple message "Eat Food, Not Too Much, Mostly Plants"

p.s. Enjoy the blog, keep it up.
